ATLANTA – September 10, 2026 – Illuminations Literacy Solutions, Inc. today announced its selection as one of the Southeast’s most promising technology companies to be showcased at Venture Atlanta 2026, the Southeast’s premier technology innovation event and one of the nation’s leading venture capital conferences. Taking place October 14–15 at the Woodruff Arts Center and Atlanta Symphony Hall, Venture Atlanta brings together the region’s fastest-growing technology companies with top-tier investors, corporate innovation leaders, and potential strategic partners from across the country.
Now in its 19th year, Venture Atlanta has helped launch more than 1,000 companies, facilitating more than $8.8 billion in capital raised and $22 billion in successful exits.
Chosen through a highly competitive application process, Illuminations Literacy Solutions joins a select group of emerging companies recognized for their innovation, market opportunity, leadership team, customer traction, and growth potential. This year’s showcase companies span sectors including artificial intelligence, enterprise software, fintech, healthcare, cybersecurity, climate technology, robotics, manufacturing, defense technology, and other emerging markets.

Illuminations Literacy Solutions develops VTO Reading, an AI-enabled oral-reading practice and assessment platform that listens as students read, measures accuracy at the phoneme level, and gives educators actionable data to guide instruction. Designed to work alongside any curriculum, VTO Reading delivers targeted, independent practice in short daily sessions while helping teachers identify skill gaps and respond sooner.
The company recently closed nearly $500,000 in seed funding and is expanding its work with schools, districts, tutors, and literacy organizations in the United States and internationally. Its next stage of growth will focus on scaling implementation, deepening interoperability, and extending the value of its speech and reading data.
As in previous years, Venture Atlanta 2026 is anticipated to be a sold-out event.
